Gates: Sunday, August 3, 2008, at age 96. Predeceased by her son, Salvatore Latone. She is survived by her loving husband of 50-plus years, Samuel Ferro; daughter-in-law, Judy Latone; grandchildren, Gary (Carol) Latone, Richard (Rebecca) Latone, Megen Spearance; great-grandchildren, Julianne (Doug), Salvatore, Sebastian and Samaya; great-great-grandchildren, Ashley, Willow and Cole; brothers, Bardo DiProspero, Joseph DiProspero; sister, Pearl Schiano; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Bernardine Spallina, Martha Paternoster, Elvira Fontana, George and Philomena Ferro; many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Wednesday from 4-8PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Road, Gates. On Thursday morning, August 7, friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at 9:30 in St. Theodore's Church. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Those wishing, memorial donations may be directed to Hamilton Manor Nursing Home, 1172 Long Pond Rd., 14626, in her memory.

Rosie the riveter, Love from cousin George. Although you were my mother's age, you were her niece, you were her buddy and close friend. I remember your good humor and jokes. You gave me silver dollars on my birthdays. I wish now that my wife hadn't spent them at par value.
