Daniel Donnelly Obituary
CUYAHOGA FALLS, OH: Age 84. Predeceased by his mother and stepfather Nancy and Daniel Duplack, niece Judy Donnelly and his beloved brother Emmett "Brud"Donnelly. Daniel leaves his loving wife, Emalee C. (Williams) Donnelly of 61 years, together with their children, Melanie (Robert) Eisenberg, Maureen (Jeffrey) Hunt, Colleen Donnelly (Ken Carney) Keiren (Doug) Hale and Brian Donnelly (Stephanie Gardner). He also leaves nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Daniel was a US Army veteran of World War II, a longtime employee of Rochester Telephone and an active member for many years of Holy Cross Parish, where he and Emalee enjoyed serving in many ways, especially with youth.
Mass of the Christian Burial Saturday 11 AM at Holy Cross Church. Burial will follow immediately at Marion Cemetery.
The family will be receiving guests at a reception on Saturday 8/09/08 from 5:00 p.m. to 8: p.m. at the Marriott Hotel - Ridge Road West. Should friends desire, contributions may be made to either the Hospice of Visiting Nurse Service, 3358 Ridgewood Road, Akron, OH 44333 or to Akron Children's Hospital, One Perkins Square, Akron, OH 44308. I met my friend mr. donnelly & his wife emalee when they would come to Walgreens and have pictures done, or were just in shopping for cards & other things. Always would stop & say hello. Made my day extra special to see them both. I will miss the small talks we had.But to Emalee & to Maureen & his family I will cherish those times always.
