Janet Smith Obituary
Sodus: Age 86 of Sodus, NY formerly of Beaver Dams, NY, passed peacefully on August 5, 2008. Her husband William L. Smith and Son-in-law Darrell Cook, Sr. predeceased Janet. Janet is survived by her son, Stephen W. Smith (Melonie) of Sodus Point, NY and daughter, Gail Cook of Big Flats, NY. Grandchildren, Stephen M. Smith (Michele), Deborah Smith Perkins and Darrell Cook Jr. (Shannon). Great Grandchildren, Marissa, Nicole, Stephen Jr., Tommy Jr., & Samantha.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Vedder & Scott, Inc. Funeral Home, 122 N. Genesee St., Montour Falls, NY on Monday, August 11, 2008 from Noon to 2:00 PM. Her funeral will be held at 2:00 PM. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family in Beaver Dams Cemetery. Those wishing to remember Mrs. Smith may do so through memorials to the Hospice of Wayne & Seneca County, Lifetime Care, 1120 South Main Street, Newark, NY. 14513-9940.
