Betty Thompson Obituary
Honeoye-Henrietta: Peacefully, August 7, 2008 at age 83 years. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Ivan. Survived by her son, Michael DeVelder. Her daughters, Carol (Robert) Rudolph, Lynda (Edward) Shaw, Donna (Lee) Bradley, and Laurie Radesi. Also, step-son Ivan Eric (Barbara) Thompson. Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her brother C. Ronald (Sharon) Schmeer and sisters, Marjorie (Gerard) Schimdt, JoAnne Harper, and Virginia Carson. Many nieces, nephews and her dear friends at Alpine Manor.
Friends may call Saturday 2-6 PM at The Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home,Routes 15 & 20A, Livonia where funeral services will be held Sunday at 12 o'clock NOON. Burial, Lakeview Cemetery, Honeoye. Sorry for your lost but as we all know your mother is finally at peace. She is in a place now without pain. She is with love ones that passed before her and she will see you again in heaven. It is hard to let go but remember her love for you is forever even in death.

I AM VERY SAD THAT I HEARD THIS TODAY.SHE WAS MY FAVORITE AUNT.WHEN I WAS YOUNG I ALWAYS HAD SO MUCH FUN WITH HER AND MY UNCLE. THEY WERE BOTH GREAT.MY FATHER BILL IS PROBABLY HAVING A BALL TOGETHER IN HEAVEN WITH BOTH OF THEM.ARE FAMILY SEND ALL OUR LOVE.

I have so many fond memories of Aunt Betty from my childhood. She was such a great lady and managed to become an unofficial surrogate grandparent to my siblings and me. We will miss her.
