Marion Sargent Obituary
Fairport: Entered into peace with the Lord on Thursday, August 7, 2008. Predeceased by her husband, Clifford. Survived by 8 children, Sandra Burke, Barbara (Joseph) Kristan, Thomas (Linda), Loraine Cordaro, Charles (Barbara), Marilyn (Louis) Shaffer, Maureen (Dennis) Hann and John; 9 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brother, John (Joan) Lochner; sisters, Arlene Kusse and Rosemary Chivers; sisters-in-law, Kay Lochner and Marilyn Lochner; many relatives, nieces and nephews. Marion was devoted to her family, but still had time to be active in both her church and community.
Friends are welcome to call Sunday 4-7 at the Richard H. Keenan Funeral Home, 7501 Pittsford-Palmyra Rd., (Egypt Location). Funeral Mass Monday 11:15 AM at Assumption Church, Fairport. Those wishing may contribute to School of Holy Childhood, 100 Groton Pkwy., 14623.
The family wishes to thank the Staff at Fairport Baptist Home for their loving care.

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.
