We knew Annie through her long time friendship with Ted and Lois Lotz; she was a nice lady, and we enjoyed picnics and vacations with her. We remember Kennie always called Annie his social director, now they can travel together, again.

Anna's love for her family is what I will always remember about her. Whenever we spoke, the attention was rarely on herself - just her family. My condolences -I know Anna will be missed.

I have always felt that Ann was a woman of many wonderful qualities. She had such warmth and a gentle way. In a very caring way, she guided many young people to the college and career that suited them the most and would make them the happiest. I heard the remark from so many people, if you really want someone who cares about you and has the knowledge, go to Ann Slater. Even though Ann and I were not close friends, I still felt a connection and enjoyed the times I spent with her, not only professionally, but socially as well. What a gift she was to everyone.

Dear Laurie, Greg, & Families -
What a dear lady your mom was and is. She loved each of you so very much taking great pride in all you did. I will miss her terribly, but I know for her she is in a better spot with lots of great company. All of you, including Janet,Gene, & Kathy took wonderful care of her. She often told me just that. In all of our years, thru all of life's situations - there was never one - happy or sad that Annie didn't show up with her famous cookies - thus comes the name and wonderful legacy - "Aunt Annie, the Cookie Lady". I hope Annie you have baked up a batch -the people you are with sure missed them as will I. Thanks for the friendship - love, Marilyn
