Fedir Smolowyk Obituary
Henrietta: Thursday, August 7, 2008 at the age of 82. Fred's family meant everything to him and he will be dearly missed by them all. He is survived by his devoted wife of 51 years, Elisabetta; adoring children, Lucy (Tom) Carroll and Marco (Heather) Smolowyk; beloved grandchildren, Elisabeth and Colleen Carroll, Ryan and Andrew Smolowyk; family in Ukraine including brother Ivan Smolowyk, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
His family will receive friends Monday 4-7pm at the funeral home. (Panachyda 6:30pm). Panachyda will be held Tuesday 9:30am at the funeral home followed by his Divine Liturgy 10:00am at St. Mary's Ukrainian Orthodox Church. Interment, Mt. Hope Cemetery. In memory of Fedir Smolowyk, memorials may be directed to St. Mary's Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 3176 St. Paul Blvd., Rochester, NY 14617.
