To all the Vernetti Family and extended family our heartfelt prayers and thoughts be with you during this time of great loss. To you, particularly, Nancy, whom I remember most of all during your friendship with Susan and Judi while we lived on Jennifer St. - always a happy, smiling girl I remember you in prayer to be strong in the Lord and treasure your precious 'mom memories'. Lovingly,
Betty and Verlyn Prestage

To the family...I am very saddened to hear of your loss. I grew up down the street from your family when I was young and moved out of your neighborhood in 1971, but I will always remember your mom as being happy, friendly and warm and always made me feel welcome in your home. My Sincere Condolences.

My dear friend Betty,
You will be sorely missed. I can never forget the fun we had with Sam, you, me, Ruth, Herb & Sharon Schamp and many others at coffee after mass every Sunday. You and my dear fellow lector, Sam were a treasure to me. I particularly remember the day Ruth & I went to your house. Sam played the piano and we all sang while I danced. We were laughing and having SOOOO much fun.
You are a gem and I am so much richer for knowing you.
I love you and look forward to our get-together in heaven when we can sing and dance for Jesus while Sam plays the piano.
Much love!!!

Like so many of the people who worked with Sam at Convair, I heard him speak often about his wife Betty. Although I never met her, it was a privilage to have known and worked with Sam, who always held her in such high esteem.

Mamasita~ I'm so honoroed to be with you on your very last moments~ I already miss you so much~ Thank you for giving me the "sign " that you are with Dad. I pray I'm 1/2 as good as a mom to my children that you were to me. You and Dad are the best examples of parents and grandparents. I love you~

Aunt Betty,
Though it has been many years since we've seen your smiling face in New York, memories remain of the wonderful times we shared with you and Sam. My thoughts and prayers are with you and my California cousins.
Love, Laurie

Betty,
You will be missed. You were not only my mother-in-law but you were my mom after my own mom passed away. Say hello to everyone for me in Heaven (Sam, Nita, Beverly, my parents). May you rest in peace.
Love you, Martha

Hi Betty, it was so wonderful that Marilyn and I were able to see you two weeks ago before your passing. I know you are up in heaven with Sam and your sisters, parents and all your friends. Betty,
I can't express how much you will be missed. You were not only my mother-in-law but you were my mom too after my own mom passed away. My feelings for you never waivered because I was not directly in the family any longer. I want you to know that I did love you up until your last day with us. My big concern now is Mark. But I'm sure he will be taken care of in the way he prefers. I hope you will tell everyone hello for me (my parents, Sam)...May you rest in peace. xoxoxo Martha
