Stark, Harriet L.
Rochester/Springwater: Aug. 10, 2008. A well known actress in the Rochester theatrical community. Predeceased by her husband Dudley Stark; a sister Patricia Adams; parents Vere and Elon Beers. Survived by sons Gregory Stark of Roch. and Dudley Stark Jr. of London, England. Daughters Susan Stark of Ontario, Nancy (Norman) Schoening of Springwater and Linda (Daniel) Karnisky of Roch. A sister Betty Vail of Paradise, CA; several nieces and nephews.
No prior calling hours. Memorial service (TODAY) Wed. at 11 am, in St. Peters Episcopal Church, 3828 E. Henrietta Rd., Henrietta. Contributions to: St. Peter Episcopal Church, 3838 E. Henrietta Rd., Henrietta, NY 14467.

My dear Harriet...we shared the boards so many times at Blackfriars. You were my good luck charm when ever I directed Agatha Christie. The Rochester community knew it wasn't Agatha Christie unless you were starring. You had the ability to walk on stage and capture the love of the audience instantly - and in my book, that is the definition of a star.
