Survived by wife of 58 yrs., Jean Bennett Magill; 2 daughters, Eileen Van Norman of Newark, Katherine (Dennis) Alvaro of Lyons; granddaughters, Adrienne & Meredith Alvaro; step-son, Rick Van Norman; sister, Julia Gagnier; sister-in-law, Marie Magill; nieces & nephews. Predeceased by sister, Joan; brothers, Peter, Paul & Thomas; son-in-law, Fred. Jim was active in Duplicate Bridge Circles, 30 yr. teacher in Lyons.
Friends may call Fri. 4-7 at Boeheim-Pusateri Funeral Home, 77 William St., Lyons. Funeral, Sat., 10:00 AM at St. Michael's Church, in Lyons. Memorials to Lyons or Newark Public Library, Newark-Wayne Comm. Hospital Foundation, or St. Michael's Church, Lyons.
