DeMatteis, Lucia
Lyons: Age 92, of Old Route 31, passed away at the Wayne County Nursing Home, Wednesday, August 13, 2008.
Family and friends may call on Friday (Aug. 15) from 4 to 7 pm at the Weeks-Keysor Funeral Home, 5 Phelps St., Lyons. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday (Aug. 16), 12 noon at the St. Michael's Church, Phelps St., Lyons. Burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery, Lyons.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael's Church or to the Alzheimer's Association, 425 E. Henrietta Rd., Rochester, NY 14620 in Lucy's memory.
Lucy was born June 5, 1916 in Lyons, a daughter to James and Mamie DiDuro Pacello. She and her husband, Victor owned and operated the Lyons Men's Shop for over 30 years, was a faithful communicant of St. Michael's Church and devoted her life to family and church.
Predeceased by her husband Victor in 1993, and brother, Ralph in 2002. Survived by her brother, James Pacello, Jr; sister-in-law, Dee Pacello; nephews, James III (Robin) and Thomas Pacello, John R. (Carolyn) Pacello; niece, Jeannine Pacello (John) Moose, all of Lyons; great-nephews, JP Pacello, John, Jr. (Michelle) Pacello, John N. (Kari) Moose; great-nieces, Heather Moose (Troy) Starling, Shannon Pacello (Philip) Romano, Jacqueline Pacello; great-great-nephews, Aiden J. Moose, and Blake Pacello; great-great nieces, Reagan Starling, Bria and Rita Romano, Bianca Pacello and Avery Ann Moose.
