David Grey Obituary
Irondequoit: Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at the age of 48. Predeceased by his father, Jack. David is survived by his mother, Ruth; sister, Kathleen (James) Engel; brother, Stephen (Christina) Grey; nieces and nephews, Hannah, Emily, Matthew, Zachary, Lilly, Gabrielle and Sophia. David loved all sports and was a longtime employee of Monroe County.
His family will receive friends THURSDAY 4-7 pm (TODAY) at the funeral home, where his Funeral Service will be held FRIDAY 10:30 AM. Interment Irondequoit Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to National Kidney Foundation, 15 Prince Street, Rochester, NY 14607

Those of us who worked in the Hall of Justice for many years came to know Dave as a wonderful, dedicated, kind and hard working man. We enjoyed tallking sports with him and keeping track of his medical issues. He cared for us and we cared for him, I have worked in this building for over 25 years and Dave often cleaned my office, I will miss him greatly.

Sandi said it perfectly - I just learned of Dave's passing. I've known Dave for years, as a very special person, hard working and so friendly. He will be sadly missed here at the Hall of Justice. My heart goes out to his family.

So sorry to hear about David. We all liked him very much at the Hall of Justice. We will miss his smile, outgoing personality, and friendliness. He always took time to say hi and find out how people are doing. God's blessings to his family ~ please know you're in my thoughts and prayers.
