Ontario, Canada: Peacefully, with her loving family by her side, after a courageous battle with cancer at her home on Saturday, August 16, 2008, at the age of 37 years. Loving mother of LeeAnna, Liesha, and Lakota. Beloved daughter of John and RoseMary (Hill) Anderson. Dear sister of Jason and Viola. Dear aunt of Jalen. Granddaughter of Cecilia and the late Herbert Ralph (Jack) Anderson and Peter and Christina and the late Betty Hill. Niece of Helen and Mike, Shirley and Don, Linda and Charles, Steve, Bryan and Phyllis, Jennifer, Flo and Tun, Missy and Mike and the late Earl, Sharron and Rick, Kenny, Mark and Andrea, Lulu and Michael, Leenie and Geordie, Pete and Sherri, Vinny and Laura, Steve, Roger, Denise and Nandell. Special cousin of Desi, Ellen Rose, Natasha, Brittany, Jeannine, Shana, and the late Sarah Green. Lana will also be lovingly remembered by close friends, Marco Diaz, Anna DiFrancesco, Lacey Hill, Earl Sr. and Cynthia Hayes, Perdina Jenkins, Myky Melos, Gertrude Johnson, Earl Hayes Jr., Merle and Charles Hill, many more loving and caring cousins and her special pet Velvet which she adored.
Resting at the Styres Funeral Home, Ohsweken, Ontario, Canada, after 11 a.m. Monday. Evening Service 7 p.m. Monday. Funeral Service will be held in the Styres Chapel on Tuesday, August 19, 2008, at 1 p.m. Interment St. John's Anglican Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Miles to Go Cancer Support Group, Six Nations. The family extends a sincere thanks to Sandra (Boo) Henhawk for her professional and dignified care for Lana.
