Edward Carr Obituary

Carr, Edward J.
Greece: Passed away peacefully, August 16, 2008, at age 82. He is predeceased by his wife, Olga; son, Larry; and sister, Esther. He is survived by his children, Jerry (Trudy), Diane (Duane) Cera, Nancy Angelo, Bill (Cathy), Chuck (Linda), Mike (Wendy) Carr; 13 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Blanche Whieldon; many nieces & nephews; and companion, Helen Weitzel.
He was a retiree of the Xerox Model Shop after 28 years. A member of the Polish American Club, and he served with the Armed Forces in Korea. Ed will be remembered for his love of fishing, hunting, bowling and golf.
Family and friends may call from 2-4 & 7-9 PM on Tuesday, August 19 at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. A Funeral Service will be held at the Greece United Methodist Church, 1924 Maiden Lane, at 10 AM on Wednesday. Interment, White Haven Memorial Park. Contributions may be made to Greece United Methodist Church in his memory. To share a special memory, please visit:
