Cynthia, I love you always have and always will. However, the lord loves you the best. Cynthia and I were very, very close and as she often stated, "no one really knows how we pump". Cynthia was so kind at times I asked why? This was her response from a letter she wrote to me: WHY I DO THE THINGS I DO: Although I may seem too friendly or nice to some undeserving person, who according to some people's opinion, don't merit the time of day ... I am kind anyway ...Although I am slow to lash out or verbally express my anger and frustration when someone really, really deserves it ....Although it seems that it may take a building to fall on my head for me to "get it" ....I am thankful that my God is a "god of second chances."Although I am way too sensitive and may need affirmation after affirmation to the point of repetition...I am what I am because God made me this way.I know that I have been blessed with the "Gift of Service" ...I love to make the people I care about feel "Loved, Special, & Catered to" I don't mind giving them preferential treatment ... they are VIPs in my world ...I enjoy and embrace the thought of giving my loved ones "flowers while they live" ... without a motive behind my generosity ... except to show that I love them and am doing it of my own free will ...Although my kindness is sometimes taken for weakness or naivety ... I am always aware of everything I say and do ... all the while thanking God that I have a "forgiving spirit" ...I am aware that "kindness" is a gift - noone has to be kind, noone has to help you or be nice to you ... people can be so mean-spirited, selfish, and rude and think nothing of it ...I am a passionate human being. I love hard, work hard and play hard ... not to mention sometimes being called "hard-headed" :) ....I thirst for knowledge, comprehension, and understanding on a deeper level - although you often say "why ask why"? My spirit is inquisitive and needs to know why... Don't ask me why :)If I can conquer the feeling of security that comes with unconditional love ... by knowing that I know, that I know, for sure, in my SOUL that the people I love will love me in return, unconditionally, no matter what .... I can say with certainty that I have captured the greatest treasure of all ... It is my hope that if I lead by example and exemplify "unconditional love" accompanied by trust, hope, and faith - my efforts are not in vain....When I've spent my last moments with my loved ones on this earth, it is my prayer that I am remembered for all the "little things" that I did to make them feel loved or special .... just because I cared. That's why I do what I do!

My deepest sympathy to Cynthia's family. Cynthia and I worked together at ViaHealth Home Care and became good friends. I just learned of Cynthia's passing this weekend as I passed by her apartment on Earl St. and saw her family moving her things. My heart is truly hurting. I will never forget Cynthia. To the family of my friend Cynthia, My prayers are with you. I worked with Cynthia at Kodak. she was a ray of sun shine. We worked together, Laughted together, took lunch together. she loved her family. She talked about her wounderful mom who helped with the kids, Jonathan and her baby girl Fallon. I will never forget my friend I am heartbroken because I just found out 2 days ago! I remember when she told me she was sick. she was so positive and her spirit was up lifting. I prayed for her and we made plans to keep in touch, go out to lunch and talk about how good God is. We loss contact and that was the last time I saw my friend...... But I will see my friend again. Because the Apostle Paul said: To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Cynthia I will miss your smile and through my tears I will miss the way you would hit me lightly and say "oh girl". You faught a good fight, you've finished your course. take your rest, we love you but God loves you best. Peace and Love your friend and sister in the Lord. Ja' Net {Barron} Scott

Mama Mary, Children of Cynt. God makes no mistakes, when its his will he will dispatch an angel for one of his precious children and he did just that. I will always remember the bright smile of Cynt. I shared a prayer with her in the hospital after her surgery and she was in such a happy spirit and she's still in that Happy Spirit. Keep yourselves prayful and joyous in her memory.

I offer my deepest sympathy. When tragedy strikes and takes the life of our loved ones, we cry out with great sorrow. Your tears have not gone unnoticed by the Creator of life.
Although your deep pain will not easily disappear, pouring out your heart to God in prayer will bring comfort to you as you grieve. The Bible assures us that God "is healing the brokenhearted ones, and is binding up their painful spots". (Psalm 147:3) May you allow the "Father of tender mercies" comfort you in the days ahead. (2Corinthians 1:3)
