I used to enjoy making surprise visits to Ann when she was on Tamarack Dr. Particularly after Mr. Aiello passes away. I would call from my cell phone and say" Mrs Aiello, I am in your driveway"..I felt this was better than ringing the bell and perhaps startling her. She would through the door open and could not get over that I was there.
I enjoyed helping her move to be with the family in NC. I remember taking her for a last visit to speak with Mr. Aiello. She expresses her feelings about having to leave for a while and that she promised to return to be with him in the not too distant future.
I also remember the phone call when she fell and broke her wrist, while we were getting her ready to move. I think I made it to the house in four minutes from Gates! She certainly was a great friend and mother. jWe will never forget her tears of joy at Michael and Nancy's wedding.
