Gary Horrocks Obituary
Avon: August 25, 2008 at age 65. Predeceased by his parents, George and Doris Horrocks. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years Margaret; sons, John (Paulette), Mark (Mylissa) Horrocks; grandchildren, Collin, Antonio, Alyssa, Amanda, Bella, Izaiah and Samuel Horrocks; sister, Nancy Horrocks; a niece, nephews and many close cousins and friends.
Friends may call Friday 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the Stephenson-Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 350 Genesee St. Avon. His Funeral Service will be held Saturday 11AM at St. Agnes Church, Avon. Interment St. Agnes Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Habitat for Hope, 2041 Locke Cuba Rd., Millington, TN 38053.

I don't know if you remember Dutch and Linda. Dutch lived with Gary, John Maynard, and two others in Rochester. We were talking about all of you tonight, and I looked up Gary's name. We're so sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

As an old high school friend I was shocked to hear of Gary's passing. Every Saturday Gary and I would go bowling at the old Lyon's Den. We actually walked from our homes to get there. In high school he and I were on the track team together. He was a great friend and good person and later I ended up working with his daughter in law Paulette ant Paychex.

Dear Margaret,
Art and I are so sorry about Gary's unexpected passing. We will miss him but always know that because of our friendship with you both we will always feel he is still apart of our lives. He may not be their to do the things that we have done together, but with the memories of the fun times we have had with you both he will always be a part of our thoughts.
