High integrity, intellectually curious, respectful, open minded, and a friend to all - Chris was always engaging and cheerful. It was an honor to have known and worked with him. Our prayers and condolences to Cheri, his sons, and family.

I just learned this sad news from Cheryl Reeves when we bumped into each other at Wegmans. I worked with Chris for many years at Harris before we both retired. Bob and I also had the pleasure of being on a business trip to Charleston, SC with Chris and Cheri. Chris was all that has been written and more; someone who is never forgotten. We cherish the memories we have, and pray the family will find comfort and strength at this most difficult time of separation.

Chris' passing is so sad. He was a prince of a man. Zoe has already commented jointly for us but I wanted to add a few words. I only saw Chris at ice dance weekends but it was always great to see him and a highlight of my weekends. It was always great to discuss engineering or amateur radio issues with him in between the skating and he always had a positive word to say about everything. He was a great friend and he will be sorely missed.

My condolences to Cheri and family. I will truly miss seeing Chris at the rink with his great laugh, sense of humor and ability to make his fellow skaters feel better about themselves.

I am saddened and shocked to learn of Chris' passing. I worked with him for many years at Harris where he had the ability and willingness to cross many disciplines to solve problems. We were also members of the Antique Wireless Association where we enjoyed vintage radio flea markets. My thoughts are with the family

I first met Chris 20 years ago as a new college hire. Over the years I came to respect and appreciate his knowledge and courteousness greatly. Each time we crossed paths, he had a friendly word or inquiry that showed his genuine interest. I am deeply saddened by his passing and offer sincere condolences to his family.

What sad news - Cheri and the whole family are in our thoughts and prayers. Chris recruited me to RF many years ago and the extra effort he made to welcome our family to the Rochester area will never be forgotten. He was a true professional to work with and I always enjoyed discussions with Chris and his keen sense of humor.

I worked for Chris in the early 80's and learned quite a bit from him. He was a very good boss. I never once saw him lose his temper. His strength of character is an example for us all. I will miss him. I offer my deepest condolences to his family.

My deepest sympathies to Cheri and the Jones family upon the occasion of this sad and unexpected news. Being British I easily recognise a gentleman and Chris was well qualified in that category!! Kind regards from your friend at the JCC swimming pool.

I first met Chris while working at Harris RF - such a genuinely warm and friendly person. One day I saw a license plate in the parking lot related to figure skating and I was delighted to find out it was his since I'm a big skating fan. I was able to see him skating and announcing at the RIT rink a few times. I am deeply saddened at his unexpected passing and my condolences go out to his family.

I am deeply sorry to hear of Chris's passing. His presence will be greatly missed. I will always remember him patiently listening to my stories about my beloved pups. He truly cared about everyone and was so very kind. The loss of his smile and company at the rink will be sorely felt. I am so very grateful to have known him. My heart goes out to his wife and family.

Like so many here at Harris I was deeply saddened to learn of Chris' untimely passing. He was head of Engineering when I came in as a new college hire 15 years ago, and it always impressed me that he made the effort to get to know me and make me feel welcome. Through casual conversations over the years we uncovered many common interests and I was always happy to run into him! Chris was the kind of guy who makes me proud to say I'm an engineer. I pray for peace and comfort for Chris and his family.

I'm so sorry to hear this. Chris will be sorely missed. I knew him from the RIT ice rink, as well as when our paths would cross at competitions where he was watching or announcing. He has the most pleasant demeanor of just about anyone I know - it was always nice to see him. I know I'll keep him in my memory from here on out, and my best wishes to Cheri and the rest of his family.

I first met Chris at the Genesee Figure Skating Club in Rochester in around 2000 when he started skating on our GFSC adult ice. Over the years we became good friends skating on the same ice regularly and sometimes practicing dances together too. During one of our many discussions Chris and I realized that both our respective parents had lived 2 blocks from each other in Lancaster, PA at the same time in the late 60's, 70's and 80's. Ironically Chris and I didn't meet in Lancaster as he had graduated from college when I went to Lancaster Country Day only a couple doors down from his parents home on Newton Road.
Chris has been a great friend over the years, even after I moved to Kingston, Ontario in 2004 to be with my now husband Don Timperon. Don, Chris, his lovely wife Cheri and I socialized a couple times a year at ice dance weekends. Chris was one of the nicest, most genuine people I've ever met, always smiling and helping others, and offering his assistance at many a skating function. Chris will be deeply missed by many including Don and me. Cheri we wish you much strength and hope wonderful memories of times with Chris will be of some confort. Our love and sympathy. I am greatly saddened by the unexpected passing of Chris. My connection is solely as a fellow adult figure skater struggling to chip away at this challenging sport, but I will remember fondly his constant smile and pleasant demeanor. Chris, you will be missed...

It's truly been an honor to know and work with Chris. He was one of a very few individuals I've ever come across in life who treated everyone he met with the utmost of respect. It mattered not to him whether you were a senior scientist or in a support level. He always said "hello" and valued you as a person. He will be sorely be missed.

This is very sad news, indeed. Chris taught me a great deal about humility, striving for excellence, and the merits of maintaining an even temper when those around you are stressed. I've never met anyone with a more positive outlook and willingness to help others wherever he could.

Chris was a great colleague and a great person. He was a true gentleman in the fullest sense of the term. He never said a disparaging word about other people, and he was a fun-loving optimistic person. I am deeply saddened today, and I offer my sincere condolences to his wife and family.

Very sad and unexpected news. Chris was a great boss, a brilliant engineer, and a true gentleman. In the many years that I worked both for and with Chris I don't think I ever saw him lose his cool even under the most stressful situations. My deepest sympathies to his family for their loss.

Very sad and unexpected news. I knew Chris to be full of life and knowledge (and a lot of it was the eccentric and fun kind!), and someone who was just so easy to talk to and to talk with. Chris was a good friend to me here at Harris Corporation, and I know he had many other good friends here also. He was always pleasant, always friendly, and always a positive star in what is sometimes a very busy and hectic business environment. Chris and I shared many interesting stories and anecdotes, though I have to admit his were more exotic than mine, and we always shared a laugh or two whenever met. I will miss Chris; my sincerest sympathies go to the Jones family, and and he and his family will be in my prayers.
