Dodge, Betty L.
Fairport/Victor: August 14, 2008. Predeceased by husband, Durston; and beloved companion, Peter Thomas. Survived by 3 sons, Durston (Chris), Allan (Virginia) and Christopher (Marylin); 2 daughters, Deborah (Richard) Schroeder, Patricia (Steven) Arsenault; 14 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren. She is also survived by the Thomas family who greatly enriched her life. Betty was formerly from Nebraska. She trained as a Pilot and worked as a Meteorologist in Washington, D.C. She lived in the Rochester area for 54 years. Betty taught Middle School Math for 19 years in HF-L before retiring. During her time in Honeoye Falls she made many friends and impacted many lives. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Friends are welcome to call at the Richard H. Keenan Funeral Home, 7501 Pittsford-Palmyra Rd., Friday, September 26 from 2-4 & 6-8. Betty's friends are invited to attend her Memorial Service on Saturday, September 27, 2008 3 PM at New Hope Fellowship Church, located on 5&20 in Bloomfield. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Honeoye Falls Lima CSD, 20 Church St., Honeoye Falls, NY 14472 Attn: District Treasurer in Betty's memory.

Mrs. Dodge was the BEST teacher I ever had. Every month I think of her, she taught us to say white rabbits 9 times for good luck on the first of each month... God bless the family at this time....
