John Fassanella Obituary
Webster: August 30, 2008, at age 94. Predeceased by his wife, Kathryn; son, John. He is the beloved father of Anne Fassenella, Susan (Tom) Spoonhower. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Adam (Emily) Fassanella, Dan (Kathy), Ben, and Rachael Spoonhower; great-grandchildren, Olivia and Gabriel Fassanella; many nieces, nephews and friends. The family especially appreciates the loving care John received at Maplewood Nursing Home.
A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, 10:30 AM at the funeral chapel (1031 Ridge Rd.). Contributions may be made to American Diabetes Assn., 160 Allens Creek Rd., Rochester, NY 14618.

To Anne - Even though I am even farther away from you now, I still received the news of your father's death & wish to express my deepest condolences to you & your family. I very much understand your sadness & grief as both my husband & I have experienced the deaths of our remaining parent in 2008. My wish for each of you now is that you have the personal strength, & support from others, to guide & counsel you through the grieving & healing processes.
