Rochester: August 30, 2008, Sam DeFrancesco, 90. He was predeceased by his wife, Georgiana. Survived by his step-daughters, Joyce (Theodore) Glaser, Jean (William) O'Dell; 2 sisters, Nellie Terena and Anna DeFrancesco; 1 brother, Thomas DeFrancesco; many nieces and nephews including Michael DeFrancesco.
No prior calling. Friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass, Wed. at 10 AM at St. Ann's Chapel, 1500 Portland Ave. Those wishing may contribute to Assoc. for the Blind & Visually Impaired (ABVI), 422 S. Clinton Ave., Rochester, 14620 or St. Ann's Community Foundation in Sam's memory.

Sam was a very caring man, and we enjoyed his baseball stories. We also appreciate all the love that he showed my grandmother, Rae Ferrante, at The Herritage assisted living. We hope Sam is at peace.
