E. Rochester: August 30, 2008. Survived by his wife of 22 years Sylvia Elliott Lutz; children, Robert Jr. (Patricia) of Liverpool, NY, Terri (Marty) Mitchell of Henderson Harbor, NY, Donna Villenuve & Linda Lutz, both of Central Square, NY, Eric (Lori) of Walworth, Irma (James) Mitchell of Binghamton; step-children, Keith (Bonnie) Webster of Rochester, Wayne (Deanna) Webster of Virginia Beach, VA, & Corey Webster of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren, Jessica, Jeffrey, Matthieu, Michelle, Melissa, Michael, John, Rummor, Tanya, Tim, Troy, Jessica & James; & Jason, Matthew, & Elizabeth; great grandchildren, Paige, Brooke, Devon & Jordan; sister, Marilyn (Chuck) Schlegel; many nieces & nephews. Bob graduated from Syracuse University in 1959 with a B.S. degree. He served in the US Air Force, worked at Loblaw's Stores as a manger from 1948 to 1956. He retired from GE after 38 years of service working in heavy military sales. He loved to hunt & fish, was a charter member of the Irondequoit Bay Fish & Game Club, the Syracuse Pistol League & the Syracuse Pastime Club.
The family will receive friends on THURSDAY at 9:30 AM for Robert's Memorial Mass at St Joseph's Church (Gebhardt Rd., Penfield). Interment Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse, NY. For those wishing, please consider honoring Robert with a donation to American Heart Assoc. or National Kidney Foundation of Western NY. Online Condolences welcomed at:

I remember Bob well as a true throw back salesman at GE with a great deal dignity and associated humor.
His association with then Rochester Radio was an example of a true partnership.
More than that he was everyone's favorite to go throw back a beer with.
