Ellen Hamilton Obituary
Gates: Peacefully, on August 29, 2008. Predeceased by her husband, Robert 11 months earlier. She is survived by her 4 children, Robert L. (Antonia), Elbert, Judy Annis and Donna (James) Hinchcliffe; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren. Ellen was an adored matriarch to her large family and was widely known and loved within the deaf community. The family knows that Ellen will find happiness in Heaven by reuniting with her husband of 65 years, Robert.
No prior visitation. A Memorial Mass will be Saturday 9:30 AM at the Emmanuel Church of the Deaf at St. Monica's, 831 Genesee St. Inurnment, White Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Rochester School for the Deaf.

My deepest sympathies to the Hamilton family. Ellen reminded me so much of my mother. I have a great deal of respect and admiration for her and her husband. They were an awesome couple who did a fine job raising four children. I know she is where she wanted to be: in Heaven with her husband.

We will always remember Ellen as a sweet gracious lady with a big warm heart. She was easily loved by anyone who knew her. It is comfort to think that she is now reunited with her love ones especially her husband Robert. She lived full life with large family that she was proud of and had many friends in her life time.
