Michael Wright Obituary
Brockport/Holley:On Tuesday, September 2, 2008, at the age of 22, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by his maternal grandparents Zack & Marylou Lee. He is survived by his wife Amber, parents Mike & Kim, sisters Amy (Tom) Hill, MaryAnn Wright, paternal grandparents Shirley Wright and Oren "Jim" (Nancy) Wright, nephew Kyle, nieces Haley and Samantha, many aunts, uncles and cousins. Also many friends from Camp Good Days and Special Times and the Teens Living with Cancer Gang.
Friends may call Thursday and Friday, 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Fowler Funeral Home, Inc., 340 West Ave., Brockport, where Michael's funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am. Interment Lake View Cemetery. Those wishing may contribute to the Michael Wright Jr. Wish Fund, c/o Diane and Stephany Britton, 1841 State Road, Webster, NY 14580, Camp Good Days and Special Times, Melissa's Living Legacy, Cure Childhood Cancer or Golisano Children's Hospital.

I miss you & can not believe it has been 13 years!!! You have helped to shape me into the woman I have become. We had many ups & downs but I would not have traded that for anything! I will always carry you in a special place in my heart & that is where I am able to keep our memories alive. mike, you will truly be missed. my prayers are with you mom dad and Amy and Maryann and your nephew and nieces. i will always remember you made me smile when all i wanna do was cry and you were always there for me. you help me through a lot and i will always be grateful. every time i ride the viper at Darrin lake ill remember you and Maryann making me ride it with you even thought i did want to i did and i love that ride now. i love you mike and ill never forget. you put up a good fight and god saw you were getting tired so he took you so you could rest. i can just see you up there riding dirt bikes and snowmobiles. i love you and ill miss you

Mike I can't believe you're gone. I feel horrible that I didn't know sooner and didn't have a chance to say goodbye. You were an amazing man and an inspiration to so many at Camp. I'm so blessed to have gotten to know you. I hope you know that I think of you often. I will always cherish the metal name plate you made for me, and the time we spent together. Dear Mike and Kim,
My prayers and thoughts go out to you and your family. I met Mike when he came to the ortho clinic as a patient and then we met up again at Dr. Garg's office. It was truly a blessing to know him. He always had a smile and had a good attitude even when he was sick. God Bless Karen from Dr. Garg's office.

I spent 185 days with Michael when he was a little boy. He was always enthusiastic and filled with life. Even when he acted out, I just could never get angry with him. He'd give that little smirk and I'd forgive him. Young people like Michael, were never meant to spend a lifetime on earth. He was sent down to do good, touch lives, and love people. When that job was done he was snatched back to Heaven. It looks like he touched many people in his 22 years. We should all feel honored that we were chosen to be touched by Michael during his short time with us. I will miss him.

I'm so sorry to hear the Mike has passed away. I went to camp good days with mike for a few years and he was such an amazing person! Mike was always so strong, always brave and always willing to help others. He could always cheer us up when we got sad or make us laugh. He'll be missed!!!

Michael was always good for another laugh every time he came to clinic or into the hospital for treatments. With Mike, I always wondered what his latest escapade he would tell us about would be. Between the snowmobiling story and the pool table story were hundreds of other moments of laughter. Thank you SO much for the opportunity to take care of him. He will be missed but never far from our hearts!

Dear Family - I would like to express my sincere sympathy to you all. While not knowing Michael well, I do know what a tremendous and courageous fight he put up with this awful disease. I am truly sorry for your loss. May it be a little comfort for you to know how he was welcomed up above by Grandma, Uncle Bill and Aunt Mary. I am sure Bill is teasing him as we speak as only Uncle Bill could.
