Charlotte Brewer Obituary

Brewer, Charlotte Mae
Lyons/Marion, NY: Mrs. Brewer of Fort Worth, TX, entered into rest on September 1, 2008. She was born in Marion, NY, on November 14, 1919, the daughter of the late Cornelius and Mildred Johnson Cook. She was a former resident of Seminole, FL and Lyons, NY. Mrs. Brewer and her late husband, Charles owned the Park Bakery in Lyons, NY, for many years (1949-1958). She was also employed in the accounting department of Garlock in Palmyra, NY, and as an Ombudsman for Wayne County, NY. She was married to Charles W. Brewer on July 2, 1938, they were married 68 years. She was a 50-year member of the Lyons Presbyterian Church.
She was predeceased by her husband Charles and her sister Madelyn DeNearing. She is survived by her daughters, Gail Snave (Lionel) of Waxhaw, NC, Marcia Galiga (Joseph) of Fort Worth, TX; her grandchildren, Jeffrey Snave, Daniel Snave (Elizabeth), Heather Wheeler (David) and Christine Turner (Lance); great-grandchildren, Jonathan Salley, Isaiah, Samantha & Jessica Wheeler and Ashley Snave; sister, Carol Kearns of Marion and several nieces and nephews.
Friends and family are invited to call 7-9 P.M. Friday, September 5 and 12-1:30 P.M. Saturday, September 6 at Stevens Funeral Home, 3896 Buffalo St., Marion, NY 14505. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. with the Rev. Lionel Snave, Officiating. Memorials may be made to the National Alzheimer's Association and to Samaritan Hospice Care of Fort Worth, TX.
