Zielke, David Allen
Spencerport: Beloved husband and father, died peacefully Thursday, August 28, 2008, after a long illness. Born in Rochester September 23, 1939. David is predeceased by his father and mother Arnold and Bessie Zielke and brother, Gene Zielke. Survived by his wife and best friend of 49 years, Joyce; son, Mark; daughter, Vickie; daughter-in-law, Debbie; son-in-law, Tom; 3 granddaughters who were the light of his life, Tiffany Zielke, Nadie Leigh and Ryley Phoenix; 2 sisters-in-law, Barbara Zielke and Jenny Fowler; brother-in-law, Joseph Murant; along with several nieces and nephews. David was an electrician and a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local #86 for 45 years.
To all of those who offered comfort and support, thank you. A special thank you to Dr. Gary Wahl and MICU Staff at Rochester General Hospital.
The family will receive friends Saturday, September 6th from 12-2 and 4-6 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave., where a Memorial Service will be held at 6 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Rochester General Hospital Medical Intensive Care Unit, 1425 Portland Ave., Rochester, NY 14621. To share a memory, please visit:
