Helene Wehrlin Obituary

Wehrlin, Helene F.
Palmyra: 94 years young, a nearly lifelong resident of Palmyra, NY and more recently Brighton, NY, died Wednesday, September 3rd, suddenly at home. Helene was predeceased by her beloved Gerald (Jerry) Wehrlin to whom she was married for 40 years. Helene devoted her life and love to her family. She is survived by four daughters and their families: Jean & Hal Smullen of Williamsburg, VA, Joan Fitzpatrick of Williamsburg, VA, Judy & Frank Angelini of Leominster, MA and Jackie & Leo Flanagan of Pittsford; brother, James Farrell of Rochester.
Helene was the proud grandmother of fourteen loving grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. She was a caring aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Elizabeth Troskosky and Charlotte Brennan and son-in-law Ed Fitzpatrick.
Calling hours will be at McGuire/Hargrave & Murphy Funeral Home, 123 E. Jackson St., Palmyra, NY on Sunday, September 7th from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM. A Funeral Mass will be said at St Anne's Church in Palmyra at 10:00 AM on Monday, September 8th, followed by interment at Palmyra Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be directed to Linden Knolls Rose Garden, 81 Linden Ave., Rochester, NY 14618.
