Maria DiFiore Obituary
Irondequoit: Sunday, August 31, 2008. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Ben A. DiFiore; mother, Lucia Izzo, father, Armondo Izzo; brother, Charles Izzo; nephew, Armond Izzo; Uncle Ralph and Aunt Frances and cousin, Vincent Meleo. Maria DiFiore os survived by her daughters, Kathleen DiFiore (NJ) and Mary (Frank) Valenti (CA); brother, Peter (Dorothy) Izzo; cousins, Louis and Ralph Meleo, Jr; niece, Luci Izzo; nephews, Paul and Gary Izzo; other loving nieces and nephews; care givers from Alterra in Perinton and her Pet, Grand-bird, Rocky.
No prior visitation. Friends are invited to join the family Tuesday 10:00am at St. Cecilia Church for her Funeral Mass. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the Several Sources Shelters, Inc., PO Box 157, Ramsey, NJ 07446 to help homeless women, unwed mothers and their babies and provide educational needs for underprivileged children.
