I was so sorry to hear today of Gordon"s passing. My Prayers go out to his entire family. I trained Gordon to drive a school bus and what a challenge that was. He like so many thought he knew all about driving, until he met me. He did not stay in the Spencerport district long but we did have a frienship and he loved his family very much and spoke highly of his children often. I will miss him for his humor and the way he was willing to help everyone out. RIP Gordon

I am very sad regarding the news about Gordy, we have been friends since we were both about 14 or 15 years old. Somehow or another, we always kept in touch. He was a musical genius and a kind soul whom I will miss terribly. My deepest sympathies to all.

Music, when soft voices die

Music, when soft voices die,
Vibrates in the memory—
Odours, when sweet violets sicken,
Live within the sense they quicken.

Rose leaves, when the rose is dead,
Are heaped for the beloved's bed;
And so thy thoughts, when thou art gone,
Love itself shall slumber on.

Karen and Kids,

I am sorry this is so late, I just found the obituary today. I will always remember Gordon as my favorite uncle and the most talented! I will always remember the jam sessions in mom and dad's basement and at grandpa Luzius' house when we were growing up. I have many fond memories of Gordon! It seems like so long ago that we saw you and Gordon at dad's retirement! This just reminds me again, that family needs to keep in touch better than we do! You are all in my thoughts and prayers. This is a big loss for the musicians in Rochester. Gordy knew every song ever written and was a great bandmate... He often talked about how talented his kids are, he was very proud of them and loved them all.
