Brongo, Salvatore A.
Greece: Saturday, September 6, 2008. Predeceased by his 5 brothers and 1 sister. Survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Susan Brongo; sister-in-laws, Gilda (Sam) Latone, Ann (Robert) Prince, Helen Brongo, Gemma Brongo; many nieces and nephews; many great-nieces and great-nephews. Salvatore was an Army Veteran of World War II where he received two Purple Hearts. He loved golfing and gardening. Salvatore was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Friends may call Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9PM at the Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday 11:00 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Charles Borromeo Church in his memory.
