Kathleen Sweeney Obituary
Webster: September 9, 2008. Age 50. Peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her mother, Mary Burns. Survived by her devoted children, Megan and Paul Kucewicz, Sarah and Chris Beh and Patrick Sweeney; her beloved grandchildren, Rachel and Haley Kucewicz, Brendan and Ryan Beh; her father, Jack Burns; siblings, Beth (Jim) Molinari of Oswego, Ellen (Terry) Flaherty, Martha (Jay) Hernandez, Ed (Hope) Burns, Jayne (Wayne) Sweeney; also many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles & caring friends.
Calling hours THURSDAY 4-8 at the Falvo Funeral Home, 1295 Nine Mile Pt. Road (Webster, Rte 250) on FRIDAY please meet the family at 10 AM in St. Paul's Church (783 Hard Rd., Webster) for the celebration of her Funeral Mass. Those wishing may make contributions to Pluta Cancer Center (125 Red Creek Drive, Roch., 14623). Interment, Holy Trinity Cemetery.

I'm so deeply saddened by your loss of a wonderful mother, person and friend. I have known Kathy since Junior High School and one of my best memories, still today is a rainy day in the fall when neither of us wanted to stay home and we walked in the rain over to Spry Junior High and sat outside in the rain and talked for hours. We were only in 9th grade then but a friendship of a lifetime had been made and I will forever remember Kathy. My prayers to all. She will be in good hands up there in Heaven. To the Burns family -
I spent so much time in your warm and loving home during my high school years, it was truly a home away from home for me. When I first became friends with Mary Beth and then almost immediately with Kathy, it extended up and down Meadow Drive. From the Murphy's to the Clancy's, Marshfield's, and Ealey's all the way up to the Abel's - we all formed a bond that stays with me to this day. I am saddened today like so many others, to see a vibrant life like Kathy's snuffed out far too early.

I am so sorry to learn that Kathy's courageous battle for life has ended. She has left a legacy of strength and love for all of us to model. I did not know Kathleen personally, but I know her son Patrick very, very well and from knowing the wonderful son that she raised, I feel undoubtedly that she was a truly wonderful and glorious soul that will continue on in her children and her grandchildren. I have to believe that it is a better place that we move on to, and I also believe we never leave the hearts of the people we love. I am so very sorry for your loss and I will keep you all in my prayers.
