I'm so deeply saddened by your loss of a wonderful mother, person and friend. I have known Kathy since Junior High School and one of my best memories, still today is a rainy day in the fall when neither of us wanted to stay home and we walked in the rain over to Spry Junior High and sat outside in the rain and talked for hours. We were only in 9th grade then but a friendship of a lifetime had been made and I will forever remember Kathy. My prayers to all. She will be in good hands up there in Heaven. Love, Kathy Markwitz-Gleisle

Dear Megan, Sarah, Patrick and Family:
We offer our most sincere sympathy on the passing of your beautiful mother. Kathy was truly an example to us all, and the Lord was truly by her side as she courageously stood up to this challenge in her life. She loved her family so dearly and that love gave her the strength she needed to endure this terrible illness. May you always remember her strength, love, and the gifts that she has given to each and everyone of you. Your family has many beautiful memories to cherish. May these memories sustain you through this difficult time. The Lord has received her and wrapped his arms around her.
We are praying for you all.
All our love,

To the Burns family -
I spent so much time in your warm and loving home during my high school years, it was truly a home away from home for me. When I first became friends with Mary Beth and then almost immediately with Kathy, it extended up and down Meadow Drive. From the Murphy's to the Clancy's, Marshfield's, and Ealey's all the way up to the Abel's - we all formed a bond that stays with me to this day. I am saddened today like so many others, to see a vibrant life like Kathy's snuffed out far too early.
