(Orey)
Palmyra: Randall "Orey" Richards passed away peacefully on Sept. 8, 2008. Predeceased by parents Henry Orliff and Eva Alles Richards. Survived by sisters Cathy Richards, Patti (Larry) Tebeau, Bj Richards and niece Dandara. Orey's family will be forever grateful to the friends, medical professionals, and hospice team who cared for him as he dealt bravely with cancer.
Friends are invited to gather for calling hours 6 to 8 p.m. on Tues., Sept. 16, at the Robert L. Yost Funeral Home, Inc.,123 W. Main St., Palmyra. In lieu of flowers, his family suggests donations to Pines of Peace Comfort Home, 2378 Ridge Road, Ontario, NY 14519. Private burial at Pine Hill Cemetery in Rush.

I was part of the gang who hung around with Orey during our high school years. What a champ and great guy and somene who would do anything to help his friends! When I moved away 28 years ago, I never saw him again, but I'm amazed how affected I am reading about him and seeing his photo again in the GuestBook log. Really first rate guy!

To Orey's Sisters:

Even though we are not in Palmyra, please know our thoughts are with you at this difficult time. Were very saddened to hear of Orey's illness when we visited last January. Try to find comfort that he suffers no more and is with his good friend Mike.
