Leon was very special to us at Linden Oaks. We would argue over who was going to take care of him. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was so warm and friendly. He will be greatly missed and we feel fortunate to have known him. Our sincere condolences to all his family as well as Krystyna.

Paul, Kate, Cathy, Carol and family,
Thinking of you as you are faced with your sadness and loss. Words can not express how happy we are to have come into contact with your son/brother Leon! He was truly a unique individual who will be missed by all that came into contact with him. We had so many laughs over the few years that I knew him. Sitting around the table a Cathy's is my favorite, not to mention when he did work at our house. I will treasure them always. I can still see him now playing basketball in our driveway as he was determined to bond (in which he succeeded) with our Matthew. He was a gem and I am greatful that our paths had the opportunity to have crossed.
With lots of love,

Bob Fuller, Leon, Bernie Beauchamp July, 2006

The Menaguale Family and Krystyna,

My thought the past few days have gone back to the time I first met Leon in 1971 when we were laborers on a masonry crew. We spent lots of time together the next several years working on constuction projects, cars and trying to stay out of trouble while stretching the bounds of good behavior. Upon my moving to Nevada in 1978 we kept in touch and Leon occasionally took on construction jobs for my family members in the Rochester area, all the while providing quality workmanship and helpful, friendly advice.
Over the past few years I was fortunate to introduce my 2 sons to Leon during annual visits back to Rochester when we would get together with Bob Fuller, another longtime mutual friend, and sit around telling stories, stretching the truth and enjoying each other's company. Leon's sense of humor was always in evidence and his friendship always guaranteed. It was an honor and a privilege to be a guest in his home and I will always cherish his companionship.

Mr. and Mrs. Menaguale, Krystyna, Catherine and Caroline-

We are so sorry for your loss. Leon was a very dear friend to the Wideman family. My brother as well as my husband worked many summers for Leon. Leon was a great guy who was loved by many. Our thoughts are with you, now and always.
