I brought this guest book up tonight and thought I would read the letters and saw that it ends October 16th, 2009.So here I'am one more time writing to you Karen and Mom. I talk to you both everyday of my life. It does not matter what time of day it can be @ 2AM. I cry inside so for you both, this life here on earth is very painful and very hard.It is a beautiful world we live in but since you have been gone it has taken something from my heart and soul, only to, I pray to get it back and join Mom, Karen & Dad and all other loved ones in Heaven someday.Mom I wear your piano necklace everyday with Love and Karen I have shirts that Cyn gave me, and George gave me your sweatshirt with a aerial veiw of your home, I love it, and your radio you took out on your boat,I play it often, and Oh Mom the radio Chuck gave you to use and you returned it back to us with your name on the back of it written by you, we never will take it off.I feel better by talking to you Karen & Mom, say Hi to Dad for me. God Bless If I had my life to live over I would choose the same life with nine wonderful brother's and sister's, love being in a large family, thanks Mom & Dad, we will never be alone!! xxxxxoooo's

Aunt Karen,
As you stand by Gram's side would please ask her were she hid the "CIDER". I sit here and remember all the fond memories as a Nephew and Grandson. I feel blessed to have had such great times in my life. You two are and always will be sorely missed. Go for the Green!

“Merry Christmas”….. thoughts of “Christmases’ Past”
The years have come and gone…. So slowly at times….. but then, they seem to disappear so quickly!
Fifty years have passed since we lost our Husband, Dad, and Friend to many –
This year we add yet another name to the list of loved ones we so miss…Karen, a loving daughter, sister, and Friend to many-
It is through both of your generous love and wisdom, that we have learned to cherish our daily lives – you were/are our mentors…… we miss and love you both so very much!

Sister Karen,
Well I never thought that I'd be signing a guest book with you being the first of ten siblings to be addressed BUT you were always the one with the moto "Lead From the Front" or "Get the Hell Out of the Way". Yes sis, you have always been an inspiration and one who I have always respected for your many accomplishments. Our beautiful Mother soon to be 91 did in fact deliver to our wonderful family, the greatest sister a guy could ask for. Thanks for the wonderful memories which shall never be forgotten. I look forward to one day being with you again (not too soon though) and shooting 18 holes where I know you can't possibly lose. Until then Sis, May the Lords Blessings be with you and our great family. Love Ya, Brother Floyd

Aunt Karen was and always will be an inspiration to me. I will miss her always. I think about her every day and talk to her. Funny thing is,,, I can hear her telling me exactly how to handle the situation I am in. LOL Although I have always lived far away from the family, I can say for sure that every one of you have a special place in my heart and my childhood memories. How cool is that? I am a lucky girl to have such a loving and supportive mom, ( I love you mom. Thank you for all of your unconditional love and support ) and all of her sibblings too !! In the last few months I have learned that we should tell each other more often how much we love and appreciate each other as much as we can. The life we are given can be so short. We shouldn't take it for granted. So now I say "See ya later" I love you all very much., God bless you gramma, I love you.

Hello I'm Karen's sister, Carol, who has lived away from her for years but always so close in our hearts in the miles apart, God Bless her. All I can think of is " I can't stop, I can't stop!" I will never forget that day she got to go into the lake befor Mom & Dad got home. Being that I'm only 11 months apart from her , I was standing right there.
I have a candle with her picture on the counter in the kitchen I light every day, there is such a hole in my heart of her gone. But I too like the rest of our family and friends know that she is in a greater place and out of pain. I love you so much Karen. Keep looking down at us and keep us in line, :-) Love you. Sis Carol

ALOT OF YOU DON'T KNOW ME, I AM KARENS OLDEST SISTER, MARCIA. I HAVE LIVED WITH MOTHER FOR 18 YEARS NOW. WHEN KAREN MOVED BACK TO NNY, SHE BECAME MY BIGGEST SUPPORTER WITH MOM, AND I MISS HER GREATLY. NOT TO MENTION MOM. TO LOSE A CHILD BEFORE YOU IS AN EXPERIENCE YOU CAN ONLY KNOW IF YOU'VE BEEN THRU IT, AND KAREN EMPATHIZED WITH THIS FEELING FOR ME. SHE HAS LEFT A GREAT "HOLE " IN OUR HEARTS, AND WILL BE GREATLY MISSED. HOWEVER, I KNOW KAREN IS UP THERE WITH LOVED ONES WHO HAVE GONE BEFORE US, AT PEACE, AND WATCHING OVER US. FOR ALL OF YOU WHO LOVED HER, AND THAT IS MANY, SHE KNOWS. PROBABLY PLAYING GOLF AS WE SPEAK. THANKS EVERYBODY, FOR YOUR EXPRESSIONS OF SYMPATHY. IT HELPS/

To the entire family, I just wanted you to know that I think of all of you often. You have certainly had your many losses and seems so unfair for one family to deal with so much. Karen was always so happy and full of life. My heart aches for George and all of you. She will be missed by many.

She was a wonderful woman. We were blessed to have had her in our lives, no matter how far we live from one another. I am comforted knowing that she is in Heaven with the Lord and she is an Angel looking out for all of us.

Sis Karen;
To all who had the priviledge to know Karen; their lives were changed forever. Her positiveness and spirituality radiated brightly! She has left us all with the aspirations to be a better person and to lift up others as well! My happy memories with Karen are too numerous to mention here.
Your work is done here dear sis but I know you have much more to do to keep your siblings all steered in the right direction! God Bless you Karen! I will always keep you close in my heart. As George said "There is a new star shining brightly in the sky tonight!" Love, Donna

Dear Fran...
I am so sadden by your loss.... your entire family was such a large part of my life growing up in Chateaugay.... I grew up blessed with knowing that I was always welcomed at your house...and at the Bessette's..and the Curtins....and the Fayette's..and..and..
You have seen a great deal of sorrow in your life ...and yet I recall a great deal of joy when the "buddies" were sitting in your front room signing songs with you playing the piano.....
To Christine..Carol....Lloyd and Floyd...Pam..Cindy...and the rest of the Walfield clan... again my deepest sympathy....
And to Kirby...Bev...Billy and Dale... again you have suffered another loss...
As my grandfather Ryan told me time and again...you are blessed with your family and friends....
I have been blessed with the memories of Karen....and of the friendship given to me from both of your families......
My thoughts and prayers

There is no doubt you are one the most beautiful, inspiring and strong spirits that I have ever had the pleasure of knowing in my life. Aunt Karen, I have learned many of your attributes that will reside with me forever. I love you and know you will always be with us all.

To George and all of Karen's family: Karen was certainly one very special lady. She will be truly missed by all who were priviledge to have known her. This kindness of heart, and her ability to always see the good in people led to a very deserved honor-being chosen as the very first--Chateaugay Bowlerette of the Year. Rest-in-Peace, dear Karen, we already miss you and we will forever keep you in our hearts.
