To the family of Verdell, there are no words that can ease the sorrow that is in your hearts today. Please know that I share in your sorrow with you. Use this time to reflect on the many years the Almighty allowed Verdell to be in your life. Let this be a time to reflect on your personal life and to get your house in order, for this is one path we will all have to take. You're in my thoughts and prayers.

Midget, San and Jannie,
It's been a rough couple of years for you and I am truly sorry. You are like family to me and I love you all. Verdell was always funny, sweet and caring from the moment I met her. I've always enjoyed spending time with you and her. Midget, I miss getting into trouble with you:) See you soon. I'm truly sorry I'm can't be there for you. But as always, call me or visit if you need a break.
Gwen, Steph, Jessie and Leonard,
I didn't know you well, but I knew your mom. She was a special woman and a good friend to my mother, Evelyn Jones. She sends her prayers.
My little Sis Venetia and Unique,
I love you girls! Be strong for your mother.
To the rest of the family. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Keep the memories of Verdell alive.
May God Bless and keep you all.

To the children of Verdell,
I can see each and everyone of your faces in the photogragh of her. What I will always remember most about Verdell is, the sound of her laughter. It was very distinctive. May the lord be with you now and always. Respectfully, cousin Faye Horne.
