Virginia Bennett Obituary
Rochester: September 16, 2008, age 82 at the Highlands of Brighton after a long and valiant battle with dementia. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Ainsworth "Ted"; four wonderful children, Linda Bennett, Sandee (Frank Gallagher) Bennett, Gary Bennett, David Bennett; granddaughter, Sarah Bennett. She had two marvelous daughter-in-laws, Judi and Lucy. Virginia will be remembered as a loving and giving wife who placed the needs of others before her own. Her activity in the Greater Rochester Rose Society was remembered in many ways.
Services will be held TODAY, 10 AM at the funeral chapel (2305 Monroe Avenue). Interment at White Haven Memorial Park. Contributions in her memory may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 435 E. Henrietta Road, Rochester, NY 14620.
