Edward Hayflinger Obituary
Irondequoit: Sunday, September 14, 2008, at age 72. Ed is survived by his loving wife, Sandra; 3 sons, Robert, Richard and Joseph; brother, Bruce (Kathy) Hayflinger; sister, Phyllis Sorrenti; grandchildren, Kayla and Kelly; nieces, Mary, Mona, Becky, Patricia, Tyne; nephews, Joseph and Courtney; several grandnieces and nephews; and life-long friend, Ron Kulp. Ed was a United States Navy Veteran and a retiree of the Rochester Police Dept., where he served as an Officer for 20 years.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Ed's life on Sunday, September 21st at 3PM at Artisan Works, 565 Blossom Rd. Memorial contributions in his name may be directed to the Rochester Police Benevolent Association, 1425 Lexington Ave., Rochester, NY 14606, or to Artisan Works. To share a memory please visit
