Dear Teresa and all of Bill's family,
We are sending you our love and sympathy and prayers. We are so grateful to have enjoyed Bill's friendship over so many years (over 40 years, for Bud!). Bill was unquestionably one of our favorite people in the whole world. His wonderful sense of humor was the very best. I would always know, when I heard Bud laughing while he was on the phone, that he was in a conversation with Bill, and after hanging up, Bud would still be laughing as he related Bill's comments to me. Bud and "Wild Bill" shared so many great times at Edison and they had fun reliving memories of their football championships, their high school friends, Marie's sweet shop, and times with each other's families. What a great time they had planning and enjoying their Edison Reunion!Their friendship was classic, and inspired Bud to carry out the elaborate plan to bombard Bill with the photo of his quarterback arm at unexpected moments (but never revealing to Bill that Bud was the instigator). Bill was known in our household as "Billy the policeman" because when our sons, Mike and John, were little, Bill would always take time with them and even took them into the jail on a special visit. They really looked up to him as a hero. All of you, with Bill, have extended the gift of hospitality to us with each visit, making us feel right at home.We remember so many of Bill's special stories and anecdotes. How could we forget, when he made everything so entertaining and funny, with his one-liners and perfect delivery. He will be forever remembered as the very best of Bud's friends, and will be sorely missed. No one can ever replace him in our hearts! Love to all of you.

Dear Theresa ~
I am Bud Miller's sister-in-law and Marcia Miller's older sister. I am also the owner of a condo in No. Myrtle Beach and it was from there that Bud, Marcia and I had so much fun concocting little jokes involving Bill's high school football newspaper picture which so often appeared unsigned at your door when you visited the Beach - or hung in the bathroom at your condo - or as the centerpiece of a fruit basket delivered by a florist - or in the window of a pro shop at Bill's favorite golf course at the Beach - or taped to the cash register at Jean's Restaurant in Little River - or in Flynn's Irish Tavern on Main Street in No. Myrtle - or sent on a tee-shirt via Fed. Express to your home in Rochester with Lenny's return address ... all for the entertainment and enjoyment of your wonderful husband who was, as you know, the ultimate jokester.
Bill has left a long, long, long list of friends and admirers, and I want you to know that even though I only met him one time (it was at the Beach and you were at the store, as I recall) the sparkle in his eye and his funny grin just reinforced what Bud and Marcia always said about Bill Coast. And that was, "Bill's the best!!!!"
Sending you and your family my most sincere sympathy at your enormous loss ... but Bill Coast stories will live on forever!

Teresa, Colleen, Bill, Laura & Family,
I am so sorry to hear about your loss. We go back quite a long time. I can't tell you how many times Bill pulled me over but let me go cuz I was "Dale's" daughter. Bill & Dale can now reminisce together in Heaven and believe me, they will. Time does heal pain but memories are the greatest to hold in your hearts. My prayers are with you all.
