Lill, Sister Clara Mae R.C.
East Bank, W. VA: Sister Clara Mae Lill, passed away July 23, 2008, at the Resurrection Life Center Hospice in Chicago, IL. She was a member of the Congregation O.L. of the Cenacle since 1952. Clara Mae was born in Rochester, NY, the daughter of the late J. Lloyd and Lucille Vogt Lill. She ministered at the Rochester Cenacle for 12 years. 10 years in Tewksbury, MA, and at Good Shepherd Mission in East Bank, W. VA, for the last 27 years.
Besides the Community of Good Shepherd Sister Clara is survived by her sisters in the Cenacle and her much loved sisters, Agnita Lill Angermeier of Salem, VA. and Rosemary Lill Graves of Rochester; and brother, J. Lloyd Lill of Canandaigua; as well as many nieces and nephews; her sister, Joan Lill Meier predeceased her.
A Mass in her Honor will take place at Peace of Christ Parish, St. John the Evangelist Church, 553 Humboldt St., Rochester, NY at 12:10 P.M. on Wednesday, September 24, 2008. All are welcome to attend. Memorials may be made to the Cenacle Sisters Retirement Fund, 513 Fullerton Pkwy., Chicago, IL 60614 or Putnam Humane Assoc., 2806 Putnam Ave., Hurricane, W. VA, 25526.
