Pam, Renee, Eric, Alice, Frank, Laura,
Mark and Charlie,
Joe was our first nephew. Our memories of Joey go back to a beautiful chubby baby and a very determined toddler. The first grandchild to both Vinci and Ponese families. Grandma and Grandpa (Joe and Addie) thought it was just fine to send their electrolux vacuum home with Joey when he was 3 years old. It was amazing to see 4 adults acting like it was normal to load a vacuum into the car so Joey wouldn't cry. Our other memories of Joe include his talent in playing baseball and his affection for little children. He always had an arm around the younger cousins. We were proud of his scholarship to Niagara University and proud of his choice of Pam to share his life.
He loved us all and showed it. We loved him and hope we showed it. God Bless our very first nephew. Our admiration for Pam, Renee, Eric, Alice, and Frank for all selfless care you gave to Joe. He was so blessed by the most extraordinary family that we've ever seen. Your love for Joe and your courage (along with his) was truly humbling.
We love you all, Uncle Jim and Aunt Margo Vinci

Dear Vinci Family,
I pray that you find strength during this time of loss by leaning on your family and friends that are present for you. I hope you can soon learn to ease your pain by remembering the beauty, exuberance, and loving attributes that Joey displayed during his most vibrant as well as his most fatigued days. I desire that your memories are reflective of not these last, possibly most difficult days, but rather the abundance of times that happiness, joy, and laughter were brought to you from Joey being present in your lives. I hope that you are able to smile and celebrate Joey’s life, even at the most difficult times. You are all in my thoughts.
Love,
Cousin Lisa

To my dear cousin's Alice, Frank, Mark, Laura, Joe's Family
How can I possibly express my sorrow and sadness at the death of Joey? My deepest sympathy and heartfelt sorrow goes out to your family during this very difficult time.
I extend my condolences to all of you. I hope that time and memories will help lessen the burden of your sorrow, and that you may draw some measure of comfort knowing that others care and share in your loss.
I remember Joey as a beautiful happy baby boy, a child that loved baseball, the handsome teen that was joyful, playful and had a wonderful personality, the loving and caring son, brother, husband that he became as a man, his strong faith in our Lord which followed him to the end.
Cousin Joey will be missed by all that had the good fortune to know him and love him.
In honor of Joey, I would like to share this poem with all of you!
I am the wind,
I am the rain,
I am the sunlight through your windowpane,
I am the leaf turning brown in the fall,
I'm the faintest whisper on the breeze when you call,
I am the snowflake that kisses your cheek,
I'm the child in the park playing hide and go seek.
I'm the scent of the flowers that fills the spring air,
I am all around you,
I'm everywhere.
I will always be with you from this moment on,
In your every dance, your every song.
You see when we move on we never truly die,
We become one with nature,
We unify!
Take care my precious ones on my passing don't dwell,
Remember the love we shared together,
See you again someday,
All is well!
I love you all, cousin Terry

Joey’s life has made an everlasting impression on family; friends; and loved ones. He was strong at heart and his faiths endure him to the end.
Although it’s difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, may looking back of all the wonderful memories of Joey comfort you tomorrow.

Pam, Renee and Eric,
I just wanted to take a moment to let you know that Joe had such an impact on my twin boys, Nicholas & Alex. He always found time to seek them out at Wegmans and still kept in touch after he retired. The boys have such a love for baseball that I know Joe would be very proud of. I know they would have had endless conversations about the game. Our thought and prayers are with you.

To Pamela, Renee, Eric & The Entire Vinci Family,
My heart goes out to all of you during this difficult time. I never got to know Joe very well, but I did get to know his amazing family over the past 4 years. His amazing wife, Pamela, the woman who for better or for worse, in sickness and in health, stood by her husband’s side every single day of his illness, I have always admired her strength for her family during this time, Joe could not have had a better partner in life. His daughter Renee, the first real friend I made when I started working for Wegmans in 2004, the girl who so many parents know they can count on and trust to watch their children, and who will make a pretty amazing teacher someday, your father will be proud of you. His son, Eric, who I just met this summer at the gym. A loving son who is going to get into medical school and do great things for all of us, your father will be proud of you. So, for anyone like me, who did not know Joe personally, all you have to do is take a look at the family that he leaves behind, you will see what an amazing man he really was.
With Love,
Billy Fedigan (Pharmacy)

To the Vinci Family,
Joe was truly a blessing. His love for Jesus will live in the memories of those who knew him. I am sorry for your loss but I also rejoice that Joe is with his loving Savior. Our dear brother is before Jesus, singing eternal praises. He is free beyond our dreams. I look forward to the day that I will see him again in glory. Our prayers go out to you during this time.

Frank,Alice,Pam,Rene,Eric,Laura,
Mark and everybody that Joe touched in his life and I am one of them. I know all of you loved and cared for Joe very deeply and should have no regrets in the days and years ahead that you did all you could.
In talking and seeing him over the last year I could see he had great faith. I hope knowing what Joe believed in is comforting you at this time.
I could write a book about all the great times Joe and I had together. The ones that always stand out are the times when you were watching us play baseball. I know Frank and Alice like my parents were to me YOU WERE JOE'S BIGGEST FAN.
I will always have happy and loving memories of my teammate and most of all my dear friend.
I am so thankful that the Vinci and Ferranti families were so blessed knowing each other.
I know Joe has already had a dish of Mazzie's chicken and rice.
With all my love... Phil & Pam and the entire Ferranti family

Bank, Alice, Laura and Dooch,
What is there to say. Joey's suffering is over, yours just begun. God's funny that way. Joey's probably playing a double header somewhere and if God makes a bad call Joey will probably let him know about it. My heart felt wishes go out to you, Pam and your grandkids. Joey will be sadly missed..

Frank, Alice & Joe's Family,
I am so sorry to hear about Joe's passing but let us rejoice because his suffering is over and so is your anguish ministering to him. Let God's Spirit overflow your hearts with love and peace knowing the blessing that Joe was to all of us. You know Phil's dad has already found him a team to play with and he's already played his first game with the energy he had for Warner Claudius. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.
