Abel, Catherine Ann (Miller, Blonsky)
Nunda: Unexpectedly on September 19, 2008 at the age of 63, Kay passed away. Predeceased by her father Howard F. Miller, sister Laola R. Miller, first husband, Gerald L. Blonsky. She is survived by her loving husband, James Abel, mother, Catherine S. Miller; children, Michael Blonsky of Avon, Mark Blonsky (Julie) of Dansville, Mechelle Gillen (Robert) of Nunda; sisters Eleanore J. Patterson of Rochester, Brenda McGowan of Mount Vernon, Washington; grandchildren, Leanne, Michael, Brandy, Amanda, Hailey, Garrett, Korey, Chelsey, Ashley, and Mackenzie; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Kay was born in Southbridge, Massachusetts on October 14, 1944, raised in Rochester, New York and graduated from Charlotte High in 1962. She resided in Nunda for over 30 years. Kay worked for CooperVision in Scottsville, New York for 26 years.
Her family will received friends Thursday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at Mann Funeral Home in Nunda, Funeral Services will be held Friday, at 11am at the funeral home. Rev. James Stevens, Officiating. Interment Oakwood Cemetery, Nunda.
