Husband of the late Mary Tomsett Sackett; father of Gerald (Martha) Sackett of TX and Barbara (Frank) Bates of Bergen, brother of Ralph Sackett of ME; grandfather of Joseph (Jessie) Sackett, Becky (David) Pellerin, John Sackett, Jennifer (Chris) Wolfe and Michelle (Robert) Wolfe;great-grandfather of Stephanie, Andrew and Nathan Wolfe, Emma Rose Wolfe and Jamie Sackett.
Calling 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at H.E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, 51 S. Lake St., Bergen. Mass will be at 9:30 A.M. Saturday at St. Brigid's Church, Bergen. Memorials to NYS Veteran's Home, 220 Richmond Ave., Batavia, NY 14020. Burial in Mr. Rest Cemetery. Condolences to www.bataviafuneralhomes.com

Barb and Jerry and families, Very sorry to hear about your Dad. My Aunt Carol from Leroy called today and told me of his death. Your Dad was so nice and called me after my Dad had died in 2001. I will always remember all the fun times at Conesus Lake with our families. I will always remember your Dad's smile and his contagious laugh. Please know I am thinking of all of you.
