Patrick Carey Obituary
Farmington/Palmyra: 32, Sept. 25, 2008. Patrick was born on Jan. 8, 1976, in Colorado Springs, CO, to Charles and Ruth Weaver Carey. He was a 1994 graduate of Palmyra-Macedon High School and was employed by Tambe Metal Products in Victor. He and the former Gena Odell were married on Aug. 18, 2007, in Gates, NY. Pat was a wonderful husband, father, son, brother and friend to many. He was an avid Buffalo Bills fan and Star Wars enthusiast.
Pat is survived by his wife Gena; daughter Brianna; mother Ruth (Robert) Freudenvoll; sister Melody (Jason Durham) Carey; brother Jamie Carey; mother and father-in-law Janet and Paul Odell; nieces, Miranda, Gabrielle and Isabelle Durham; best friends Bruce Newpher and Scott Milliken; a large extended family and many close friends. He was predeceased by his father, Charles H. Carey.
Family and friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9pm on Mon., Sept. 29th at the Robert L. Yost Funeral Home, Inc., 123 W. Main St., Palmyra. Funeral services will be private. Burial will be in Palmyra Cemetery. Contributions in memory of Pat may be directed to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 3049, Syracuse, NY 13220.

Gena, I was shocked when Chad told my parent's & me of Pat's passing. It seems like yesterday all of you were at the cottage in Canandaigua together having fun on the lake. Melody and family, so sorry for your loss, my thoughts and prayers are with you. I love talking to Pat about when you & I were teenagers and giggling about the 80's music/shows we used to go to. He seemed like just a small kid then. Glad he passed through my life twice. He was a great guy with a smile on his face all the time. He'll be truely missed!

Pat, i cant believe that you will not be here to tell me how much my Jets suck and your Bills rule. It was always are best times.
