Cole, Daniel Riley II
HOLLEY: He was born in Albion April 12, 1953, died at the age of 55 September 26, 2008 after a brief illness. He was born in Albion April 12, 1953 a son of the late Daniel R. & Irene (Monacelli, Cole) Jenkins who died July 31, 2008. He is survived by his beloved wife of 31 years Penny (Kittle) Cole; his loving children, Heather (Steven) Kelley, Daniel (Laura Ritchie) Cole, Matthew Cole all of Holley; brother, Michael Cole of Naples FL, brothers-in-law, David Kittle of Gates, Jason Share of Bradenton FL.; sisters-in-law, Lisa DeMauro & Stacy Forehand both of Bradenton FL; aunts, Audrey Cole, Carol Cole, Barbara Gaylord, many nieces, nephews, cousins & many dear friends especially the coffee club.
Dan worked for Window Depot, USA where he was in sales. He was currently in his 16th year of service on the Monroe 2 BOCES Board of Education where he served as President for 8 consecutive years. Prior to that he served on the Holley Board of Education from 1986-1992. Dan was an accomplished drummer playing for Julie Dunlop, Josie Waverly, JB and Company. He was also a former member of the Holley Rotary Club and the Holley Fire Co.
His family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 16650 W. Albion Rd. Rt. 31 Holley Monday from 3:00-7:00 and Tuesday 2:00-4:00 & 6:00-9:00. Dan's Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at St. Mary's R.C. Church at (note time) 3:00pm. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery. I remember Dan from his time being a drummer for Julie Dunlap and High Maintenance. My daughter and I used to follow them all over and one time he gave my daughter a pair of signed drum sticks.

Dear Penny & Family,
So sad to hear of Danny's passing. I went to school with him and was in colorguard. The band was the best! Holley won't be the same without him. God Bless and watch over you and your family.

We are so very sorry for your loss, my daughter and I knew him from Julie's band and my daughter has a set of drum sticks that he signed for her. It was a sweet thing for him to do. He will be greatly missed. If there is anything I can do let me know.

Penny,

I went to school and graduated with Danny. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I live in Estero, Florida now and will be unable to attend his memorial services. I was in the concert and marching bands with Danny and also played percussion, (bells, marimba, orchestra bells). We had a lot of fun. Remeber the wonderful times you had.
