Arnold Goronkin Obituary
Syracuse: September 26, 2008. Arnold "Arnie" Goronkin, 77 died Friday at Menorah Park in Syracuse. Born in Pittsburgh, Arnie had been a resident of Syracuse since 1972. After attending the University of Pittsburgh he began his career with the Spencer Companies, a family footwear company. He was the general sales manager. Arnie was a member of the Cavalry Club, and the Paddle Club of Manlius.
He is survived by his wife Ruby of 52 years, his sister Marsha Grossman, his sister-in-law Selma Bremen, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Graveside Services will be at 11AM Monday in the Britton Road Cemetery. Contributions in Arnie's memory may be made to The Foundation of Menorah Park, 4101 E. Genesee Street, Syracuse, NY 13214.
