Mary Jane and Harold were my Godparents, and very special friends of my parents, George and Shirley Rickey. I last saw Mary Jane at St. Stephen's after an early morning Mass in November 2005. She looked great; still such a classy lady. I remember my parents talking about what a wonderful hostess she was.

Know that the Rickeys remember Mary Jane, and are sad for your loss. But we are grateful that Mary Jane and Harold are reunited, and sharing eternal life, not only with the Lord, but with good friends as well.

Kind regards,

Alan/Betsy Guard

After WWII four good friends met four Keuka College BS in Nursing graduates. The meetings blossomed into marriages, and the friendships continued through all the years. Harold and Mary Jane, Barb and Bill Braell, George and Shirley Rickey, and Alan and Betsy Guard. All are gone now, except Alan and Betsy. Not a day goes by when we don't think of one of them and the wonderful times we shared.
