To all who have signed this book and have sent flowers or food or those who have just been there for our family; You are so very much appreciated. My mother touched so many people in her life. She was very, very special and will be missed more than there are words to express it. Thank you so very much for your kind thoughts and prayers at this time. I recognize many of your names and know that my Mom cared for you in life and I believe that will not end. Thank you.

To Shirley's Family,
I met Shirley through my Aunt, Diane Liestman. When I would visit Diane at work with my son, Shirley would always be sure to see us. Her smile and her kindness to me and my children is warmly remembered. My prayers are with your family. I know how difficult this is, as I lost my mother 8 years ago. May you find comfort in your memories of her and knowing that she is at peace with our Lord Jesus. Sincerely, Diana Post

To Shirleys family, I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Shirley 15 yrs ago. I thought she was a very kind and caring person. I lost my mother awhile ago and I know just what you are feeling. Always remember she is with you in your hearts. Remember all the good times. She wouldn't want you to be sad. Take care of eachother.

My sincere condolences to Shirley Yates' family.  I knew Shirley through my sister Diane Liestman and grew to know her as a wonderfully kind and loving person. She was always considerate and helpful to Diane when Diane had surgery, she was also that sholder to lean on when Diane needed it. I will always remember her for her kindness to my sister. Everyone who knew her will miss her greatly, but I know she will always remain in our hearts.  To Shirley's family; I'd like you to know that I am thinking of you in my prayers and wishing you comfort and peace.

Shirley was a very nice lady to work with. She often spoke of her granddaughter, Nicole and how much she looked forward to the weekends so she could take care of her. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
