Lucille Malatesta Obituary
Henrietta: September 27, 2008, at age 87. She is predeceased by her husband, James A. Malatesta; brothers, Joe, Paul and Jim Ross. She is survived by her sons, James (Grace) Malatesta of Rush, Thomas Malatesta of CA; grandchildren, Nina & Louis Malatesta; sisters, Beatrice Roberts & Anne Weidow, both of Scranton, PA; brother, Anthony (Anne) Ross of Rochester; sisters-in-law, Anna Malatesta & Gina Nataloni, both of Scranton, PA; several nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
Lucille's family would like to express their gratitude to the caregivers at the Friendly Home-North 2.
Family and friends are invited to call at Miller Funeral Homes, Inc. (3325 Winton Rd. South) on Tuesday, 4-8 PM. Lucille's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Good Shepherd Church (3318 East Hentrietta Rd.) on Wednesday at 10 AM. Interment, White Haven Memorial Park. Lu was one of those people that I will never forget---as a young selling manager @ Sibley's she gave me her support and love.....truly a special lady! She was so proud of "her Jimmy" and her sons....I am sure she will be dearly missed. with sincere sympathy- Bernadette Shaheen

My mother worked with Lu for many years at Sibley's. We are very sad to hear of her death.My mother is also at the Friendly Home but is doing quite well despite being unable to walk much. I remember your mother very well,and always thought she was a wonderful person.Our sympathies to her family.

I am so saddened to hear of Lu's death. She was such a wonderful woman, she would always bring joy to my days whenever I saw her. It was such a comfort knowing that I was in her thoughts and prayers through the years. I truly miss both Jim and Lu, they meant the world to me.
