Our thoughts and prayers are with
you all at this time, our very dear friends.

Jane was such a wonderful lady , and always very kind to us over the years on our cherished Lake of Bays.

Fondly remembered,

Suzie Stevenson

A bed of blossoming tulips,
Swaying in the sunny breeze.
A white swim cap,
Bobbing neatly in the deep blue bay.
A small blue dish always filled with pickles,
On the picnic table (not far from the sandwiches and soup).
A batch of Tollhouse cookie bars,
Soft and gooey from the oven.
A hot cup of Drostee’s special cocoa,
And a warm piece of buttered toast on Christmas Eve.
A series of four line poems,
Always clever, for the Christmas Pie.
A snuggly yellow robe,
Zipped up to the neck.
A clean envelope with its signature cursive scrawl,
Often filled with newspaper clippings.
A scotch and soda clinking in its glass.
A pot of tea.
A good book.
100 Buckland Avenue.
The trunk and heart of Treetops.
All of these are you,
My Grandma.

Jane was one of the first friends of my wife's family to welcome me to Rochester over 45 years ago. A great a loyal lady who brought both cheer and substance to all around her. She will be well remembered.
