Grams always pushed for excellence. She was supportive of education and music. I will miss playing the piano for her.

Mom Loeser cared for all of us in her own special way. I'll always remember her tickles - either in person or over the phone - that were a part of every interaction with her. She left us a legacy of practical advice, Amy Vanderbilt-esque manners and a record of financial management that we can all learn from. Thank you mom for loving me and for the foundation you passed along through my mom.

It's my sincere prayer that you came to know the salvation of Jesus Christ - by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone - in your final days.

"For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast." - Ephesians 2:8-9

Marian "Mom" Loeser-Wheeler had a long and interesting life, during which she loved to travel, lived in well recognized Rochester, NY, locations, and encouraged her family to achieve exceptional educations. She was active in managing her investments successfully for over 60 years, and enjoyed fine dining, bridge, and watching her family grow. She had a warm heart, and had a few select charities that she supported. Her warm smile and grateful attitude will be missed. She was a very special lady.

My husband and I were privileged to know Marion and to spend time with her at various family functions. The last time I saw her when I was able to bring her her favorite food jelly donuts.

Grams, i don't know why we called her that, but i always thought of her as really smart. Quick mind. One memory is: She was in Utah for Thanksgiving and my hubby, who is on the slender side, was there. It was one of the first times meeting Grams. She kept telling Mike to eat more. She kept passing all the food his way. Being polite he ate as much as she passed. She kept saying, "You need to eat more. You are too skinny." By the time dinner was over he was really sick. I wonder if she was trying to be funny?

Mom Loeser Wheeler has been an important part of my life since I was about 14 years old. She treated me like a daughter and she was a mother to me. She appreciated the finer things in life and loved traveling, cooking, reading, and learning. She was phenomenal when it came to expertise on money matters. I am grateful for all her tender kindnesses towards me as a daughter-in-law. She raised two wonderful children and instilled in them the desire to achieve and develop their full potentials. This is a great legacy and tribute to her. She will be dearly missed.

Grams lived a very long and full life. She traveled extensively and loved her home, the city of Rochester. We will all remember Grams' mental acuity, attention to detail and interest in family doings, impeccable taste, her commitment to being wise with money and to nutrition...and her always sending us a "tickle!" Our warm thoughts are with Grams' family and faithful friends Bob and Cheryl Rissberger in this time of loss. Anne
